Oh, sister, it's a wish of mine Now that the morning meal is done-- Make haste, your morning tasks resign; Come forth and feel the sun! They say, nearby lives a tree Whose branches are so charmed That when its new-formed buds have broken free, It issues forth a perfect song. Can you feel it? There's a blessing in the air: Inspiration of shapes and shifting sounds. Come join me in this mossy forest dell; Be my fairy queen, with boughs of Hawthorne crowned. Everything around us is opening, Witnessing becoming, unfolding. It's tender woodland poetry. They say, nearby lives a brook That slows the pace of time. And when you sit upon its banks a spell You feel the busy earth unwind. One moment of this woods may give us more than fifty years of reason. Our minds we'll steep in forest lore And drink the spirit of the season. Can you feel it? There's a blessing in the air: Inspiration of shapes and shifting sounds. Come join me in this mossy forest dell; Be my fairy queen, with boughs of Hawthorne crowned. Oh sister, don your woodland dress Now that our morning meal is done. Come forth and let the wind your cheek caress. Come forth and feel the sun!

Last night in the dim light Not feeling quite right And still not sure what to do I make my mind roomy Hope it flows through me Like it flows through you In these situations I have reservations But I don’t have a clue Love over hate Wonder twins activate Try to form something that’s new If you’ve got the time I’ve got a few lines To run by you You’ll put them in melody Like I’ve never knew I gotta get going, and hop on a Boeing Don’t know when I’ll return To do this again, will me smile friend Likes there’s good times to burn I hear the static, I watch the jump cut Wait out the silence too All for those moments of clean connection when it’s all coming through If you’ve got the time I’ve got a few lines To run by you You’ll put them in melody Like I’ve never knew I’ll say in closing Sometimes I know things Some of it’s grabbed from the air But I’m certain as ever that this here endeavour’s The kind of magic that you share Tonight by the bright lights, feeling so right Knowing I will pull through Make my mind roomy let the music flow through me Like it flows through you I’ve got a few lines If you’ve got the time And I can’t shake these words You’ll put them in melody Like I’ve never heard

When all of the world starts dreaming A nocturnal ticket to ride The voice in your head starts streaming The home movies of your mind I'm back country Appalachia Bear bags all hung on the line Nobody is looking for fact checks Just white blazes painted on pine Please don't wake me up tomorrow Please don't wake me up at all Please don't wake me up tomorrow I'm doing fine I'm on mountain time Wandering hardwood museums Take me back into the green The man wrapped in flags cannot see them He's blinded by his own scene Please don't wake me up tomorrow Please don't wake me up at all Please don't wake me up tomorrow I'm doing fine I'm on mountain time

Welcome to the teen years You’re the man of the house Daddy broke his back It’s time to break yours It’s time to break yours Black Friday’s gonna make a man outta you Sweep those streets, steal that bread It’s what you’ve got to do Money’s comin’ your way Someday CHORUS Suit & tie, martinis & lies You’re raisin’ regret Out on the town burin’ it down You never forget You never forget CHORUS Motel livin’, Cadillac driven Drunk every day of the week With the bat of an eye, one lucky guy Your pockets are deep Don't’ be weak There’s a ghost in my laughter His blood in my veins This ghost in my laughter is all that remains Of this man I adore, mistakes and what for The ghost in my laughter lives on forever more
